PETITION NUMBER: Zoning Text Amendment PLNPCM2025-00008 This 45-day input period ends on: March 23, 2025 Mayor Erin Mendenhall has initiated a zoning text amendment to consolidate the parking garage regulations in the downtown zoning districts. Due to several recent text amendments that were being processed at the same time, but adopted at different times, the parking garage design regulations are found in 3 different sections of the city code. This amendment will move these regulations to one location to simplify the code and eliminate potential code conflicts. The intent and the purpose (to screen parking garages and not allow parking garages at the street level or in front of buildings) will remain. If additional conflicts related to parking garages are identified during the review process, the conflicts will be corrected as part of this amendment
